High temperatures, coupled with minimal rainfall, resulted in significant water deficit and evapotranspiration in July and August. However, the lack of rain paradoxically ensured very satisfactory grape health. These specific conditions of the vintage have yielded wonderfully balanced wines.

Located at the southern border of la Côte de Beaune, Santenay is a sprawling village. The hillsides feature brown limestone soils, while the lower areas have more clay and silt. We carefully blend grapes from various vineyards to achieve a harmonious combination of structure, fruit quality, and elegance.
