The 2022 is a blend ofĀ Les Athets and Les Chardannes, two sites towards the base of the Chambolle hill on clay, silt and limestone soils. Leroux has sculpted an outstanding rendition of theĀ villageĀ using roughly 30% bunches and 20% new oak. Itās pretty, perfumed, fine and juicyāin other words itās classic Chambolle!
āMedium colour. An elegant Chambolle nose, light red fruit and violets, entirely uncooked. The fruit builds to the back of the palate, a richer raspberry with a strawberry note alongside, adequate acidity, few tannins and good length. Should be delicious quite early.ā
